That’s the question on everyone’s minds, especially considering Kelce is playing in his fifth Super Bowl next Sunday, February 9. Just 48 hours before the Grammys ceremony on February 2, however, we got our answer. Page Six is reporting that Travis Kelce is skipping the Grammys to attend football practice with the Kansas City Chiefs.
While Kelce is prepping with his team, Swift will be attending the 2025 Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. This year the singer is nominated for six awards, and is also slated to present at the show. Knowing Swift, she will maybe, probably, make another surprise announcement while she has the spotlight. Reputation TV? I just know the Swifties are salivating.

Between the two of them, Swift and Kelce have had plenty of opportunities to make their red-carpet debut as a couple. Last year Swift attended several awards shows by herself, including the Golden Globes, the Grammys, and the VMAs. She also attended the premiere of her Eras Tour film in 2023 on her own, though at that point she and Kelce had only been dating publicly for a couple months. Last May, Kelce walked the red carpet at Kelce Jam—his KC music festival—solo.

It’s unclear whether scheduling conflicts are to blame for the fact that they have not appeared on the red carpet together (between the years-long Eras Tour and a wildly successful football career, these two have been going nonstop), or if there’s something more intentional going on. Notably, Swift did not walk red carpets with her last couple of boyfriends or flings. It’s not surprising that Joe Alwyn, the famously private British actor, wanted to avoid the spotlight, but even before her relationship with Alwyn, Swift was more likely to hit the carpet with her girlfriends than a date.

A video of the pair walking through the tunnel at the end of the celebration went viral because of their cutesy PDA, with Swift jumping up and down and pounding his chest while Kelce pulled her in for a kiss on the top of her head.
Rumors of a post–Super Bowl engagement loomed after the adorable exchange, but nothing has been confirmed regarding their long-term plans. One thing the couple is definitely looking forward to? After the Super Bowl, both Swift and Kelce will have some well-deserved time off. Vacation, anyone?
