The Grammys 2025 Were All About the Girls

What was your favorite part of the Grammys 2025?

For most of womankind, the answer is obvious. Beyoncé—after four nominations in the coveted album of the year category—finally, finally, finally took home the award for Cowboy Carter, her country masterpiece. Watching a cultural icon be recognized with the night’s biggest honor was incredible. She even brought her daughter, Blue Ivy, onstage to celebrate.

There were plenty of other standouts for the girls too. How about Doechii becoming just the third woman ever to win best rap album and giving a poignant yet joyful speech to celebrate? Then, barely five minutes later, she performed a mash-up of her songs “Catfish” and “Denial Is a River,” proving why she’s the artist everyone’s talking about in 2025.
